One of the beautiful and terrible things about self-publishing is that you do everything. There isn’t an agent, a publishing house or other individuals to answer to when it comes to anything related to your book. 📕 The process is liberating and daunting at the same time. It also means that I’m taking my time and releasing the internal pressure of launching my book A to Z Love Letters to You 📖 with a grand announcement 📣, I’m letting my marketing plan unfold slowly and organically in the small space in-between my day-to-day life. It’s likely not the best way but it’s the only way that I’m able to handle it at the moment. My Amazon and Ingram Spark links went live quietly on May 1st, which also happens to be my late grandfather’s birthday.
It’s crazy to hold the finished project in my hands. My illustrator and designer, Aarohi Bansal did an amazing job. The vibrant colors and joy that she brought to the project made her the ideal collaborator for putting this little piece of my heart and a few of my words out in the world. I wrote the book for my daughters but also for other women who want to leave written messages of hope, faith and love for their children or grandchildren. It’s intended as a quiet way to explore the grace were are given through faith and that we can learn to extend to others as well. If the book resonates with you I hope you consider ordering or gifting a copy, leaving a book review and even reaching out to me to share your thoughts on the book or even additional outreach ideas.
Wishing everyone a beautiful week. Hold each day as another opportunity to slowly flourish in the way that you are intended to in this world.
